Backpacks and bags from ESSL have been used for decades by the Austrian army and other armed forces. The name ESSL stands for affordable quality and reliability. The ESSL RU90 is a spacious alpine backpack with a large, covered main compartment. The lid with inner and outer pocket can be adjusted in height and easily removed if necessary. The bottom compartment can be opened completely with a long zipper and also be separated if necessary. All around are belt loops for attachment of for example walking sticks. The right shoulder strap can be released in an emergency by a quick-release device and the backpack can be quickly dropped.
